This is the last page of Battle City. The four Yugi and Kaiba duos go to see Shadi, a fortune teller who reveals that Veiler is the real Dark Marik. He cannot use the Millennium Puzzle because he was born as a pharaoh, but still has some power left. With Veiler's only chance of success at the Duel Monster Card game, Yugi and Kaiba battle. In their first turn, Kaiba draws The Winged Dragon - Raijin against his Red-Eyes Black Dragon, but Kaiba quickly uses its effect by sending it to attack his own Life Point. Shadi tells him that the monster needs time to gather energy before attacking, so he stops to think which counter strategy to use. Kaiba ignores the advice and attacks with both Red Eyes Black Dragon and Armored Elephant equipped with the World's Legacy effect from World Legacy Superstars, against which it can destroy neither defense position monsters even though both have DNA Surgery from The Big Five, combining it with The White Stone of Ancients to allow it to destroy all three Defense Position monsters in order to end up with its unmodified ATK being equal to 6500 leaving him open of being able to win a Duel just like this one if he loses...

Shortly after that, Ryo Bakura arrived in Egypt and was "summoned" by the Millennium Puzzle. At this point Yugi's friends learnt that Bakura was no good; since he had lost his memory in a school bicycle accident, but what they don't know is that Bakura actually took on Marik's soul and learned how to read minds in the process, eventually inhabiting Marik's body entirely.
